Twofour’s six part series follows the work of CO14, the Metropolitan Police’s Clubs and Vice Unit. The officers in this highly specialised unit are tackling the extremes of crime, from people trafficking, pornography and drugs to prostitution and perversion.

In the first programme (24 September 2009) officers are risking life and limb as they go undercover, in the heart of Soho, to close down an illegal clip joint which is extorting thousands of pounds from would be punters. And late night in the capital undercover police women catch kerb crawlers prowling the streets searching for sex.

The second programme (8 October 2009) sees the officers of the vice squad on red alert when they hear rumours of an underage girl working in a London brothel. PC 'Big Jim' Sollars, the eyes and ears of the vice squad in Soho, explains the nature of his work. And two kerb crawlers are caught red-handed when they ask an undercover policewoman for sex.

In the third programme (15 October 2009) the vice squad investigates a number of illegal brothels in the capital and a young woman who was brought to the UK to work in the sex trade tells her story.

The fourth programme (29 October 2009) follows detectives from the Obscene Publications Unit as they smash a suburban DVD factory churning out thousands of illegal and obscene pornographic films. The team then shut down an illegal sex shop in Soho before turning their attention to tracking down, arresting and imprisoning paedophiles. Finally, whilst catching kerb crawlers in London’s East End, officers manage to disarm a knife carrying man who’s just terrorised his minicab driver.
